This third in the series was especially murderous. Thinking that the past was more mundane compared to today is wrong. There were sick people long ago.

Murder with a sense of humor

The last installment in the Prescription: Murder series by Alan Hynd. Mr. Hynd's witty sense of humor are the highlights of this series making it seem as if he's sitting in the room telling you the story. Although the subject matter is truly gruesome, it was an enjoyable read.

True crime from the past

I think I enjoyed this book slightly less than the first two volumes. Perhaps that was because I already knew about a couple of the stories.
These crime stories are well-written and very comfortable to read. The facts are presented with no window dressing. I did count 14 errors; one photo was captioned as Dr. Belshaw when Belshaw was the detective.
I will look for other books by this author because I like his writing style in reporting crime stories.
