Save your money, browse through your home knitting books instead

A complete waste of three bucks. The book does not match the description, is not for the "advanced" knitter, and is a collection of patterns I've seen elsewhere. The sample available for download is much more promising than the actual book. Part of it is a stitch dictionary, there are patterns for some 1970's looking garb,, and there is some explanation of steeking, entrelac, and other things we've all seen in a hundred other books.
While it was inexpensive, it was still a disappointment. From the description I was hoping for clever, helpful, advanced. This book is none of those. Sorry to be so harsh, but I get tired of being misled, even for three dollars.

A great advanced knitting resource!

I bought this book for my sister as she is very into her knitting, however on looking through it I found myself really interested too. There are a lot of images and even recommended youtube videos that I found really helpful. If you’re wanting to ‘step it up’ with your knitting then this is a great guide. It breaks down a range of advanced techniques very clearly, and focuses on clearly communicating the pattern behind the technique. The book also gives great tips for how to make the most of them; like making sure to using contrasting colours on a two-colour brioche stitch, but not necessarily on some other stitches. A great advanced knitting resource!

This advanced knitting book has great instruction and pictures so that anyone can make wonderful patterns easily! Be ready to learn intricate design and great techniques for intarsia, enterlac, and creating a mitered squares technique. Read the book more than once and be sure to check out the various resources included for further knitting information. Learn steeking, the art of cutting-YES-cutting your stitches to create some amazing designs.Though the book says it's Knitting for Experts, it's so thorough that anyone can learn it. I highly recommend it.
