I particularly love the author's transparency throughout the novel

We all have a story to tell, but we all can't tell our stories. "Pieces of Me Shattered But Not Broken" is the story of a young girl raised in South Florida forced to grow up far beyond her time. The author's story captures the true essence of the human spirit and what it means to be resilient. The book is a page turner and every page and chapter includes a lesson that the reader can take away and apply to their own life. I particularly love the author's transparency throughout the novel. She discloses some very intimate, sensitive, and oftentimes downright embarrassing details of her life. These details not only keep the reader interested in finding out what will happen next, but they also help the reader understand how this author was able to successfully turn tragedy into triumph. The book itself is a very quick read for those of us who have the time to read, but nonetheless, if you don't have time to read, once you begin reading this book it will be hard to put down. It becomes apparent that the author's intent and purpose for this writing is to bring self healing and to demonstrate that healing is possible from whatever circumstances we endure in life. This book is a very good read and highly recommended for the young or old.

The story line is amazing. Being a young child

The story line is amazing. Being a young child, going through so many life changing situations, and still managing to come out in top is such a blessing. I got goosebumps, read pages with my mouth wide open, and even shed a few tears. This is a must read. Excellent book especially for a first time author. Loved it, loved it, loved it!! Keep up the good work I can't wait for the next one

Beautiful story of a beautiful soul

"Every trial, every inch of pain, every setback will prepare me for my future." Pieces of Me: Shattered but Not Broken, is a story to which we all can relate. Complex, elegant, and above all honest, it tells of a young woman going through the trials of familial, financial, and personal relationships. Although hit harder than most, she is wholly relatable as a human being, and perhaps more significantly, as a young woman in the modern world. Many in her situation lack the proficiency or desire to share their story, to selflessly expose their wounds because there are others who need healing. Her strength is cathartic to anyone who can relate to the struggle of simply making it through another day. She is living proof that rock bottom is never the bottom, nor is it the end of the story. Her optimism and unbreakable spirit are an inspiration, and I highly recommend this book not only as a good read, but to anyone who needs to be reminded to never give up.
