Strange, haunting, powerful and highly recommended.

Joe R. Lansdale an award-winning novelist and is best known for his hard-hitting, dark yet humorous mysteries, suspense, horror, dark crime, sci-fi books and stories. He’s also written for comics and several of his novels have been adapted for films. Truly, a man for all genres.
Daniele Serra is an award-winning artist who illustrates comics, graphic novels and book covers. He’s just illustrated Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Bestiary #4 (with a story by Lela Gwenn) and a book of his extraordinary artwork, "Veins and Skulls" (December 15, 2013), is available on Amazon, published by SST Publications.
Brutal and beautiful. These were the two words that leaped into my mind as I read "I Tell You It’s Love". Lansdale and Serra have teamed up to produce a poetic and atmospheric graphic novel about the sickness of the soul that ordinary people call love, but what do psychopaths call it? In the end, our narrator and his object of lust Gloria seek out the ultimate in sensual suffering (at least for one of them), although our anti-hero still proclaims: “I tell you it’s love.” It might be love, but it's love amongst the damned.
This is a graphic novel that you’ll want to revisit again and again. The sinister and sinuous drawings hold secrets that you discover with each reading. Strange, haunting, powerful and highly recommended.
