The explorers Ms. Graber amassed write in inspiring and heartfelt fashion. Their words will stir your emotions of places you may have already visited or simply have always heard about.
Whether distant traveler or living room explorer, “Chance Encounters” offers the reader a glimpse into the world of exploration, empathy, desire, and compassion.
Spanning the globe you will explore the mysteries of why we enjoy reading about traveling. Through these minuets, the reader will learn of a common denominator when meeting people. You will discover the undercurrent of our connection to wanting to be connected.
The writers Ms. Graber calls to arms pen in a fashion representing the best of human interaction and a sense of camaraderie.

Expertly crafted, this book makes you feel as if you've traversed the world yourself, and met some great people along the way.

If you can't manage to travel around the world, allow this book to do it for you. Even if you have been to each place this collection touches, reading about the people these writers met will reward you. This book is so well written, and each tale is unique. If you're looking for the next travel book to get your hands on, this is definitely it. These writers all bring different emotions out of you when reading, but also there is the desire to trust in other human beings that ties them all together. It's refreshing to read about amazing places, but especially so when those stories have amazing people of just as much importance.
You'll be thinking about these people long after closing the book. I am particularly stuck on the compassion of Magdalena, a weaver from Guatemala. It's a treat to read stories that strongly impacted the writers lives. There is so much to offer in this book.
Well worth your time, and don't be surprised if you get the strong urge to get on a plane!

Like everyone, I'd like to travel the world and experience different cultures, places, and people. But also like everyone, financial and time constraints place realities on that dream. With this travel series, you are transported to so many different places and right in the middle of such interesting, compelling and unique situations. It's wonderful to experience the world in your imagination through true tales that give you special insight to global cultures. Makes me wonder what I might experience on my next trip. These stories are well-written, unexpected, inspiring and definitely worth reading. It's nice to read personal stories behind different countries, rather than just the news headlines. Looking forward to reading further editions!
