This book allows the reader to see in to the author's childhood & young adult life on how she overcame the unbearable abuse her mother put her through where as most mothers are supposed to be nurtures and here she is one that painfully hurts her daughter mentally & physically and then on top of that someone else whom is supposed to be there to protect sexually abuses her but yet through it all she overcomes diversity and is now stronger because of it all and she can now testify to others that they too can rise above wow i cant wait to see what else this arthor has in stored
