the book only has about 36 SMALL pages of actual text. book size is small. and some of those pages with text only have four lines of text on them....the rest of the page is blank. virtually no pictures inside the book. one diagram is included in the pages that have text.the information contained could have been printed on about 6 pages in this book and about 3 pages in a normal size book.

The book is written in large print some of the pages are completely blank. If I was trying to teach a kid about how to grow I would use this book but if your trying to get some serious information I wouldn't use this book.

Not what I expected

Not what I expected. Pages are just about see-through, it's like tissue paper. Very hard to read because you can see what is printed on both sides of a page. Very thin, flimsy cover. Returning.

Very Disappointed

Very disappointed. Very cheap, thin 'bonded' leather. Heavy ink bleed through makes reading difficult and/or impossible in places. Notes do not necessarily reflect a literal interpretation of Bible--more figurative in many instances. No references, no concordance, and the dictionary in back is very short and close to useless. The Bible is much larger than Amazon's website describes (9.5 by 7 inches, not 9.2 by 6.5 inches) which is too big for even a large Bible cover and far too large to easily carry around or slip into any kind of tote or bag with other items. Almost any other KJV study Bible is better than this one on several fronts. I returned this immediately.

Definitely NOT a "study" Bible, a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

I thought this would be an important addition to my Bible library, but sadly my old much-worn Scofield Reference Edition, given to me by the Frederick Baptist Church when I was12, is a much better Bible for study than this alleged "study" Bible. The introductions to the books lack the detail of my old KJV. The commentaries are nice but references to other texts, to help you gain a better understanding of the text are nonexistent. While the commentaries in my old KJV were short, it's references to other texts helped me greatly in understanding the text I was reading. And then there is the"dictionary/concordance", another great disappointment. The concordance in my old KJV is much more extensive and helpful. All in all, this "study" Bible falls far short of what I consider a true study Bible to be, and will be going back. It doesn't even deserve the1-star rating I have to give.

This is a very interesting book that I very much enjoyed reading. Santhi is the owner of the karate studio where our son goes to train a few days every week, her book does a great job of explaining her drive, her incredible life coming over by herself from Malaysia, and the dating scenarios are amusing and heart felt. She is warm and caring in person and this comes across in her book as well. It also explains some amazing psychic powers that she possesses and adds an element of mystery and intrigue to the book. I hope she finds her next soul mate! Aaron B.

Such an insightful and heartfelt story of a woman's journey to self-realization! It's so inspiring to read about a woman who overcame such difficult circumstances (in another country, where women are certainly not equal), to finding inspiration and motivation for her life's passion, and then learning how to understand and accept her Gift. So very few people are able to experience the Gift, as she has, and it's good to hear how someone else has experienced it and learned how to find meaning in it. Heartfelt, funny, and insightful!

Wonderful book written by a women who is both mentally and physically strong. She has multiple black belts in different styles of karate, is a single mom and a business owner. I liked the seriousness of her gift of feeling spirits juxtaposed with her dating chapters. Fun read!

About the Author
Margaret Eagles, Textile Artist and Quilt Designer. Margaret started sewing dolls clothes when she was ten then progressed to making her own clothes in her teenage years. Twenty-three years ago she made a quilt for her then six-year-old daughter’s bed, and she was hooked. Over those twenty-three years, she has gifted many quilts to family, friends, and charities. She has created this book as a way for the quilt-receiver to understand and appreciate the quilt-making process.

So much more personal than a card or letter

One of these personalised books was included with a quilt I received for my birthday this year. Almost cried when I read it. I never knew how much time and effort, and more importantly thought, went into each gift quilt. Each step in the process was included, along with photos and pieces of the fabric which can be found in the quilt itself. So much better than a gift card. So personal. I've since bought a copy myself to give with my first quilt.

Great little extra gift to give with your precious quilt. Was so much fun to add the photos and cut out little bits of the fabrics to place in the sections of the book. So much better than just giving a card, this will get kept as a momento of the wonderful person who gave the quilt . . . Me!!
