In the middle of our homeschooling day one of my children asked, “Mom, did you go to school to be funny or were you born that way?” I knew this was my only chance to endorse education, so I lied. With my most serious mom face, I said. “Of course I went to school to be this funny. Even my husband thinks I am funny. Most importantly, God thinks I am funny. He gave me the gift of humor.
